Apologies for the terrible photo - I barely managed to see Bergamo during the hours of daylight!
I'd passed through the town countless times, using the airport before going on to elsewhere. This time I thought it would be interesting to stop there for the two nights of my trip. Unfortunately, this meant that due to a very tight schedule my only real time relaxing in the town was at night. They were good nights, however; Bergamo is amazing for food.
What to say? Bergamo deserves more than such a fleeting visit. There are some beautiful buildings in both parts of the town and fantastic restaurants, which I only got to experience very briefly. I'm already planning a return. |
