The new location for a while

Çorlu is just 100 km from Istanbul. Due to its proximity to Istanbul, it has developed a lot in recent years. We moved to Çorlu with my wife in February 2011. As my new assignment is in Çerkezköy, it just takes half an hour from Çorlu to reach there. Çorlu is a town of Tekirdag, but interestingly the population of Çorlu is more than the population of Tekirdag. We are likely to stay about 1.5 to 2 years here. My tips will mainly reflect my gastronomic adventures in Çorlu as there is not much to do, but enjoy food :)

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Not very crowded, less traffic
  • Cons:Limited things to do
  • In a nutshell:Although Çorlu is a small town, I find the locals very friendly and warm
