Diary of a Traveller | Watching Istanbul from boat |
I like travelling since I was a small child. I always felt an instinct to discover new places and expand my frontiers. I guess this comes from my Turkish genes as most of you have already noticed, Turkish are everywhere in the world. I find myself very lucky as my job also allows me to travel to different locations in the world. As being an expatriate for several years, I have the chance to learn and adapt to new cultures, countries and people. It amazes me so much that once you break your shell and start exploring new cultures and countries, you develop yourself a lot. I believe you can learn something useful from every culture and this will become a flavour to your improving intellectuality. During my exciting journey around the world, I hope to meet new friends. |

| | Becoming an expatriate Milano was my first step to becoming an expatriate. During my assignment of 2 years, I had the chance to visit many places in Italy and around Europe. My food and wine culture developed a lot thanks to fantastic Italian cuisine. I also consider this period as my "hatching egg" period. |
Second destination Budapest After completing my assignment in Milano, I was assigned to Budapest for another project. I stayed 2 years here. I had the chance to see some other parts of Hungary and I made many travels to different destinations in Europe. | | | Watching Budapest from Buda Castle |
