Hetauda city is situated ,200 kms away from the capital Kathmandu, about 6 hours drive, along the national highway .If you take the dirt road from the south ,you can reach Hetauda city in 3 hours time ,ofcourse this road is for the adventurous and is ideal for motorcycles and light vehicles only 80 kms from Kathmandu. Hetauda is an industrial city and is surrounded by factories of various types , for example cement , beer ,vegetable oils ,dairy farms, fishing farms etc.Since the national highway passes through the city ,most of the people living here possess transportation of many kinds ,ranging from trucks to small tractors. Hetauda also has a lot of temples namly ‘churiya mai’ ‘Bhutan devi’ ‘ manakamana’ and many more .It is only two hours (70kms)to the Indian border Raxaul.* |
