little about Pokhara Pokhara valley occupies the central location in Nepal and is dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. Its unique setting may be judged from the fact that the town of Pokhara is only fifty kilometres from Annapurna clearly seen from the valley. |
Climate of Phokhara The climate of Pokhara is slightly warmer than Kathmandu with daytime temperature hovering around 15 degrees Celsius in winter and 35 degrees in summer. The monsoon season which lasts from mid-June to mid-September is very wet; in fact Pokhara records the highest rainfall in the country. Best time to visit is between October and May |
We really had a great time cycling around the Fewa lake , it feels really great to cycle along the lake .One can enjoy the marvellous view of the lake . After cycling for sometime we planned to stop near the lake to have cold drink ,AH it felt great ,cool wind blowing on the faces .it was a fantastic feeling .% |

kokoryko Sat Aug 1, 2009 22:58 UTC Pokhara looks to be a nice place Urvashi! I would like a lot to bike on the shores of the lakes with the Annapurna in the background! There is a lot to see, thanks for showing. And I will try to avoid jumping in the Devil’s fall if I visit! :) | goutammitra Wed Jun 10, 2009 11:54 UTC Lovely Pokhara page.
