I would recommend Costa for a wonderful reason ... the feel, wonderful service and rate, friendliness. and good for singles, married couples or families. They will do special occasions with no problem or sometimes no charge. For an anniversary they will take your dinner table down on the beach and serve candle light meal. Met wonderful people from all over and had one Aussie couple put me in their jeep and take me to a local home where a sweet young hippy couple made funky gold jewelry. Some buy seasonal homes there also, if I had the money that is where I would park!
Unique Qualities: Very clean, family & friends working there very closely together makes a wonderful stay, laid back, flexibla, eager to please and so friendly. In the town od San Francisco of Nayarit. Has connections to te native peoples in the area so the Archeological hike is a very special one. They have a special area they take you to scuba diving into a hidden cove with a tiny private beach that rare and other birds nest in.
Food and most drink are covered with just a little extra at time of booking and worth every cent! It is Fantastic food. Come down to the open air restaurant any time and order. Swim up bar. Surfing lessons and many different excursions. Horse riding on beach, birthday parties, theme nights and kayaks & bikes, some shopping trips etc.. Hidden away a bit and wonderfully relaxing.

Directions: About a 25 minute drive west of Puerto Vallarta on the main road...Turn left at little town of San Francisco & just follow signs. Can take bus but taxi is good. Taxi drivers will thoroughly rip you off, so bunch up with people and split the price.
