I visited vegas with three friends when we were on vacation in the states. The first thing you notice about vegas before any of the hotels or bright lights is the heat of the place, we were visiting in mid summer and therefore the temperature was in the forties the whole time we were there which is too hot for a group of scotsmen!

Vegas itself is just a big playground for adults which is good for a short visit but I wouldn't like to stay more than four days at a push, just due to the amount of money which the place consumes from you. I also found
that once you'd seen a couple of casinos you'd seen them all as they were all the same but just with different themes.
