Take an apartment and stay for a week or two. Experience the magic of Venice at all times of the day. The mood changes by the hour as sun light dances across the sky melting into dusk. The blending of colors, sky and water, are best captured in an early morning walk or a late afternoon romantic stroll. In Venice the pace is casual so slow down and slip into Venitian mode. Elegance and romance are at every turn. To try and experience Venice for a day or two is such a sin. Take at least a week if not more and you will start to encounter the real Venice.
