Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah

Four Corners

Four Corners is the only spot in the Nation where four states intersect at a common point. The frist time I visited Four Corners was about 1972, at that time there were no improvements, the parking lot was wind blown red sand and several Indian women had hand looms set up weaving Navajo blankets for the few tourists that happened by.
St. Francis Cathedral, Santa Fe

Spanish New Mexico

Santa Fe was once the capital of Spain's, and then Mexico's, territories north of the Rio Grande today it is the capital on the state of New Mexico. The histories and tradations of Santa Fe go back beyond Pueblo villages occupied by indians long before the Spanish.
