"A first!!!" Manning Provincial Park by doyetski
Manning Provincial Park Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 40 photos
We spent 3 days at Manning Park. Although we stayed at the Lodge, our group consider it our first "camping".
Our family arrived way before the rest of the group. We have already explored before they arrived. We first drove over to the "alpine". There was quite a stretch of rough road but it was worth the trip (and the dent on my brother's car!). The alpine flowers were so colorful. And the view was breathtaking up there. Communing with nature while we ate adobo for our lunch.
We went fishing afterwards near Lightning Lake. My brother and his kids, actually. I just dozed of near the lake with the pine trees as my shield from the afternoon sun.
