<font color=#EB4B00>For a latin guy, like me, to hear the word "España" or "Madrid" or "Sevilla" or "Valencia" or "Barcelona", you mind take you to everything that for a latino (not having ever been in Spain) would be related to OLE, Bullfights, flamenco dance, sevillanas, the Mother Land (Madre Patria), spanish conquerors, Paellas and Lola Florez.

But Spain is more than that. Once you arrived in Spain, you start to discover the real Spain and all its wonders. Spain for us (Latinos) is our Mother Land that once nourished with this religious and cultural traditions. Not to mention, the cruelty used by the spanish conquerors to civilized the new world habitants by destroying everything that was on their way and taking the gold, silver and precious stones (Emeralds) to built up an enormous empire. The the new world habitants the things that were taken only represented things, but their lives were more important. But all those images of our history that we share only remains in the back of our minds, as a testimonyt of who we are and where we came from. Now, we must look into the future.

Spain is a beautiful country proud of his heritage. Madrid, the capital, is the cultural city of Europe. Madrid has had many residents throughtout its history. from the Moslems, who founded the city, which left a huge impact in some of the cultural traditions, such as dances, arts and architecture to the Madrid habitated by the christians and catholics of the later years.

Today Spain is a proud monarchy of its traditons and origins. The time I spent in Madrid and Barcelona, enjoyed everyminute of it. There are so much to see and experience that one trip is not enough. I promised to go back again and to be able to taste the real spanish flavour for life.
