A Charming City on the Loire
The city of Chinon sits on the Loire and is an excellent base to stay if you are going to explore the chateau's in that area. The city is easy to navigate on foot and has many excellent restaurants and places to sample the famous Chinon wines.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Convenient for chateaux visits.
- Cons:There is quite a bit of traffic on the roads.
- In a nutshell:A wonderful place to visit
