museums, landmarks, monuments and much more! one of the best things about D.C. is the abundance of museums. and they're right next to each other! the first time i went to D.C. i met up with a friend who gladly showed me around the National Air and Space Museum as well as the National Museum of American History. unfortunately, i only had 2 days to go around D.C. and didn't see all there was to see. so...the next time i went i made sure to visit the following as well: United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Library of Congress, and the National Archives. of course i winged through the White House, Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and everything else in between as well. one thing's for sure....the 4 days i spent the second time around still wasn't enough and i plan for sure to come back. |
