bitten by the travel bug

niagara falls canada side
i loooove to travel! if travelling is a passion then that's one of the things i'm truly passionate about. since i was a kid i loved going with my parents whenever they went to the province or even just on short trips. my first real trip out of the country was back in 1992 when i went to HongKong as a graduation present. since then i've tried to visit as much places as i can both in and out of the country. the thing about travelling i love the most is getting to immerse yourself in a different culture even if only for a short period of time. and i just love meeting new people, doing new things, seeing new sights.
anyway, i'll try to add as much tips here but more than anything else i'm here to share my travels with, meet like-minded people and gather tips for my future travel =)

SPAIN: my dream destination

i love spain! i love everything that has to do with the country in fact. from the language to the sights to the beaches to the culture to the people and of course (!) football....what's not to love?! i've always wanted to visit spain but unfortunately, haven't had a chance to do so. but its a dream i hope to realize one day. i'm even studying spanish just to prepare for that day! hehehe. and i know what i'll be doing when i go there:

1. visit the sagrada familia in barcelona
2. watch a flamenco show
3. run with the bulls in pamplona!
4. spend the day at the beach in mallorca
5. party at ibiza
6. watch a football match and visit the bernebau stadium in madrid
7. eat paella and tapas to my heart's delight

so spain just wait coz one day i'll be there!

visit the philippines

i love my country. i'm sure most of you have heard about the negative things about the philippines and i'm not gonna deny that there are things that i am not so happy about here. but at the end of the day i still love this this place and i am proud of it! i mean where else can you find the nicest, friendliest, most welcoming and resilient people in the world? where else will you find people who go out of their way for guests even giving up their beds and sleep on the floor just to make you feel comfortable?! and i haven't even talked about the sights yet! sure there's a lot of nice beaches out there, a lot of wonderful parks, a lot of historical monuments, but i still have yet to find something that comes close to the diverse natural beauty that my country offers. i love the philippines. and if you get to know us a little bit more you'll come to love it too.

if you'd like to know more about the country i live in and love check out this site:

Anantara Resort Maldives Overwater Suites

where i WILL spend my honeymoon (its a must! haha)

my friend just informed me that she was going to the maldives for a vacation and showed me the resort she'll be staying at and my jaw fell open and i turned green with envy. in fact i'm still green with envy! man oh man, basing it on the pictures alone, i'd say this is one of the nicest resorts i've ever seen. it looks so romantic! and just look at the water! my goodness! she said the name of the resort is Anantara Resort Maldives and Maldives is like the perfect, most romantic honeymoon destination. i've decided, this HAS to be my honeymoon destination! just think...idyllic seclusion, exotic surroundings, luxury and style all in one place....PARADISE!

latest trips - where i've been most recently

i just got back from cebu 2 weeks ago. this was my third trip to cebu but my first time to stay at shangri-la mactan. absolutely worth it! i'm builing my page and i can't wait to share the experience with you.

late last may i travelled to palau. i never thought i'd visit palau (i didn't even feel inclined that much) but my boss asked me to go with him for a business trip. i'm glad i did. it was definitely beautiful....well the natural beauties at least. i'm also building my page so wait for it.

i'm back!!!

i've been out of commission for some time mainly because of work. i've also been doing a lot of travelling (and plan on doing a lot more this year!) and i'm really trying to build my travel pages so i can share my experience and my tips. please sit tight and hang on. thanks!
