From the little I saw while I was there over the weekend with my friends, Candelaria appears to be a quiet town, thriving peacefully on its own and on the influx of tourist just discovering the nearby jewel sitting on the South China Sea - Potipot Island. Yes, Candelaria and Dawal are the two closest townships to Potipot Island. There are several resorts to choose from. We happened to be able to book a reseravation at Alta Niña Beach Resort in Barangay Sinabacan (sp?).
