In April when we were here the weather was terrible and the road conditions, despite snow-plough-mobile's best efforts, were trecherous (coming in the direction from Blonduos). We unfortunately came off the road and spent the best part of the day waiting to be rescued! This meant two things a) we lost an awful lot of time & b) we were no longer confortable on these roads and therefore did not feel like a lot of exploring! However, what we did see was stunning and I came away wishing we had managed to see more...
