Clean and beautiful Slovenia I cannot recommend the beauty of this country enough.
The air is the cleanest air I have ever breathed & the scenery simply beautiful. My lasting impression of Slovenia is, driving into it from Italy, driving through gentle meadows whilst being dwarfed by the most gigantic and majestic mountains; wonderful!
Nothing about Slovenia disappointed me. A very beautiful, picturesque country.
The roads are good & they were building a "fast" road to Ljubljana, which when (if it isn't already) finished will make an enormous difference in travel time.
Oh, and look out for the mobile honey houses (portable bee hive trucks)!
...and did you know the Slovenians are some of the oldest wine makers & therefore have some of the oldest vineyards in the world?! |

Nice pictures of Bled and Triglav! And you are right the Skocjanske Jame is really impressive! But for me, having vertigo, also a bit scary... |
