Monterrey's Cathedral - Monterrey

Monterrey's Cathedral

Cathedral & other church Churches Review

Around this square, there are some colonial buildings,like The 'Capilla de los dulces Nombres'(chapel of the sweet names), built in 1838; the metropolitan Cathedral and the Mercantile Bank.
<p>
Contrasting, in the center of the macro square is the monument 'Faro del Comercio' (Lighthouse of Trade), with a height of 70 meters and that it in its roof harbors a laser-ray equipment, and the light crosses the sky of the city of Monterrey every night (By the way this made Monterrey the first laser city of Mexico).

Cola de Caballo - Monterrey

Cola de Caballo

Horse Tail Waterfall Cola de Caballo Review

A great place for a picnic is next to Horse Tails Falls, named for the wispy cascades that dive down a brilliant green face encrusted with moss. The cascades are actually three waterfalls next to each other.

Directions: Take the Carretera Nacional, after Santiago N.L. Is about 20 minutes far away by car from Monterrey.
