Restaurant Name: The Rocks and Circular Quay Restaurants

Had dinner with friends at this hotel restaurant on November 19, 2007. The service was not only bad, it was disgraceful. Even though we were a party of six, with a centrally located table, the unfriendly wait staff appeared to forget about us. The waiter did not inquire if we wished a pre-dinner drink, and seemed annoyed when we requested one. The service was slow, almost non-existent. Food, when we got some of our order, was OK. No offer on the part of the waiter for dessert. Finally we all just got tired and disgusted, then tried to get our check. This too required repeated requests. It was obvious that the wait staff had no respect for us, the restaurant, the hotel, or their jobs. Their attitude was "this is a hotel restaurant, and you'll never return, so we don't have to care." The whole experience was awful. Never, never dine there.

Favorite Dish: The average meal was impossible to appreciate because of the awful service.
