Keep moving! Keep running! Keep up, move up! | At the Tokyo Information Center |
May be it's my age but honestly, I can't keep up with the fast pace in Tokyo! I thought I would ran out of breath from catching up my sisters, catching the train, the bus and moving on escalators and elevators!!!
Everybody seems to be in a rush all the time- no matter what time it is. Everybody seems to be in a line for something. Whoaaa! I need to rest! I need a little bit of rest so I can catch my breath!
My sister said, "Move your butt faster!"
Anyway, I survived the 2 1/2 wait to get into Tokyo Tower and then another 30 minutes wait to get down via the elevator! I also survived the packed elevators! Oh my goodness! I am so glad that I am taller than most Japanese!!! I can look at their heads!
What to do in Tokyo
1. I would really suggest to skip the Tokyo Tower if you don't have enough time. Quite honestly, the long wait at the foot of the tower is comparable with the long wait at the Eiffel tower! There are more things to explore in the city! However, if you have a lot of time, then it's a good thing. And you are patient to wait. 2. Akihabara and Marunouchi 3. Asukasa 4. Imperial Palace 5. Ueno 6. Ginza 7. Shinjuku 8. Roppongi 9. Harajuki 10. Ikebukuro 11. Shiba 12. Tokyo waterfront |

| | I love the ice cream at the Tokyo Tower! Since the line going to the Tokyo Tower is so long, I decided to send my sister Polynne to buy some ice cream! The ice cream is really, really good! It is wrap in kind of like Norwegian dough! It also has fresh bananas and whip cream! It was yummy!
My sister got a tuna sandwich. It was also wrap in the same pastry.
My sister told me an old secret: The Japanese are the most patient people in the world. They can wait for a long time! Nobody wants to give up their line! |
