"Mackinac Bridge" Michigan by joiwatani

Between two huge lakes:Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. The water gets so cold! The fog clouds any view. You can't swim either because you might get hypothermia! Just cross the bridge and hope that next time you come again, the water gets warmer and the fogs go away to get a better picture of the gateway to Mackinac Island.

The Bridge View Park

We got down in the car and ate our sandwiches at the park. It was a bit chilly for me but not for my children! (I am from a country where the weather is always good except for the six months that it rains a lot! But, the rain is still warm!). My children, not matter how cold the water is, they still went and took a dip at the cold water of Lake Michigan!

The Mackinac Bridge

It is pleasant to cross the bridge. It is exhilirating. Just like passing any other bridges!

• Pros:The gateway to the Upper Peninsula
• Cons:Too cold for me! I am chicken to cold water and cold weather!
• In a nutshell:I hope I come back and spend time in Mackinac Island.
