So, we had a Road Trip (March 22- April 2) and went to Sedona, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Seaworld in San Diego (Please watch those short films! I finally uploaded 85 videos!), Phoenix, Arizona and met with some awesome VT members (jumpingnorman, Basaic, ADVENT and daytripper. I also saw jusdenise93). We also visited some parks in Oregon, Utah and the Shasta Lake. An update with my family:I now have bragging rights! My daughter Shelby received a scholarship worth $180,000 to go to the University of Washington!!! The greatest thing about this is that I don't have to pay for her tuition fees and books. It pays for her 4-year college! And, this scholarship includes her allowance, too! She made me a proud parent! When you have a chance to visit Seattle, please try to do so. | | My VT meeting in Phoenix I met with a doctor, a retired teacher, a truck driver, a student and a brother-in-law of the #1 VT Rookie!
Before my February trip to Paris where I hosted a VT Meeting, I was also coordinating another VT meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.
My family was planning a Road Trip for 9 days in the United States, so I decided to have a VT meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. I got in touched with jumpingnorman, our VT # 1 Rookie of the Year.
The VT meeting was a blast! We had a great time sharing stories, talking about VT members while sharing a venti pizza and a spring salad!
Jumpingnorman(Norman)has the most positive energy. As a doctor at a local hospital in Phoenix, he came in with a huge smile and lots of confidence. He is absolutely hilarious, lovable and most of all, adorable!!! Definitely, he is a VT keeper!!!
Then, there is ADVENT (Anthony), who shared his stories about his travels in the United States. He definitely knows how to travel in style! He travels with his huge truck! As a truck driver, he travels almost every state in the continental U.S.! Hey, VT single ladies! He is handsome and has a great job! He also has great personality. He is certainly a good catch! What do you think, single women there? (Maybe, this is not a good forum, but hey, what the heck! I have to hook him up! He!He!He!).
Let's not forget Basaic (Jim B). He is a quiet-type guy, but, he certainly knows his craft. You have to listen to him when he talks because as a retired teacher, he can teach you how to explore the nooks and crannies of the State of Arizona. He is the #1 VT member in Arizona. I do appreciate him attending the VT meeting because he drove 250 miles. But, not bad, Jim. Although I didn't see it, you drove your brand new car!!! How cool is that?
Daytripper came also. I didn't know about him that much because guess what, he was new! He just signed up as a VT member that day. I envy him because he has already done one VT meeting.
We welcome him to VT as well.
I had so much fun meeting with these exciting VT members! Best of all, they all treated me like a QUEEN! (Hey, I didn't have any competition there!)
(Thank you jumpingnorman (Norman) for paying the bill at Grimaldi's Pizza!!!! The pizza was so good - it reminded me of those wood-burn pizza in Italia! ).
To all those VT members I met: You are great! I hope that we stay connected through VT!!! -if nothing else...Hope to see you in Seattle as I am cooking up another HUGE VT meeting in two years! |
