VENICE - JULY 2010

In July 2010 we took wonderful but short trip to Venice.
We rented fully equipped apartment and were able to escape tourists and enjoy Venice the way Venetians do.
Every morning after breakfast we would make a short trip acros the main canal to get fresh seafood. After that - sightseeing in Venice, Burano and Murano. We could return home after 5 pm, shower, cook dinner (mainly scampi every day because you can't get them in New York), drink bottle of wine, put our dishes into a dishwasher and enjoy quiet streets of venice between 7 pm and midnight.
In 3 days we saw a lot.
We ate a lot.
And we drank a lot.
We would get back to Venice in a heart beat - always staying at the self catering apartment close to the fish market :-)

Are you related to S. Speilberg? Nice video. How was Burano? What was your favorite meal that you cooked. Look foreward to more tips. Randy
