"Dennmark, Skagen" Århus Amt by NICEASCAT

Just returned from the small town "Skagen" A most unusual place in Denmark. Nearly all the houses are painted a specific yellow collor due to tradition. It used to be a small fising place but in the late 1800 an artistcollony put the area on the map. If you like art look up : P. S. Kryøer and Michael Anker.

Go for long walks out of season ( in the summer you know what to do on the beach, i`m sure ) the beaches are great ! 60 km of long sandy beach around Skagen town.
Visit Skagens museum; more than 800 paintings + drawings, sculptures ect.
Eat at Skagen fishrestaurant, their fishsoup is a dream.
