NOT a Clean place to stay. and other Aqaba, Jordan Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

I would NOT recommend this hotel!!!! We paid in advance for their "best" rooms and even spoke with them on the telephone. When we got there, the rooms were NASTY... especially the bathrooms... don't ask how long it's been since the divet has been cleaned... the linen on the bed wasn't clean and the rooms looked like they were last cleaned in 1920 when the furniture was put in. We complained so they showed us "nicer rooms", ok, they were cleaned in 1960. We were told that they had better rooms (the ones we PAID for) but that none were available. We refused to stay,. (oh and the tv was 5" the beds were twins not doubles as they advertise. ) IF you decide to stay there ask for the best rooms, make sure you get them and be forwarned that it is in a noisy area.

Unique Qualities: Pool looked nice, it was big, the building looks like it needs to be torn down tho.

Directions: Middle of a "happening area" disco's, Popeye's, Burger King, Pizza hut plus other resturants. Walking distance to shopping and a mall.

There are 3 Auqamarina hotels. MAKE sure that you stay in the newest one!!! We stayed in the old one which is due to be torn down soon... give you a hint??? A cracker that I saw on the floor when we first went in there was STILL there after the "maid" cleaned the room! I don't think the carpet has been cleaned or vacuumed in years. I refused to let my kids take off their shoes in the room. It's a big room, but just not clean at all. We paid for 3 nights but left after the second. The pool is "tiny" and filled with salt water!!! Access to the ocean is through a "beach" about 5 feet wide. For 90 jd we got breakfast and diner included. The first night diner was very good, the second night, they quick serving an hour before diner was supposed to be over so we missed diner and had to leave the hotel. For the same amount of money.... chose a different hotel until they tear this one down.

Unique Qualities: IF you get one facing the ocean with a balcony it would probably be nice.
