Name of Shop: Harrods
Harrods is HUGE and it sells anything you can possibly think of: books, clothes, home furnishings, electronics, jewelry, beauty, shoes, toys, and food. There are also several restaurants. Make sure to ask for directions if you feel even slightly lost... its really easy to lose you sense of direction in the maze of hallways and departments.
A visit to this store is a must for most, but don't expect to buy anything you really need. I understand that they do sell a lot of luxury brands, but at the same time everything just seems to be completely overpriced.
I purposely took my son to Harrods just so he could walk around the toy section and play with some of the things they had out. He had a great time and I was also able to look around.
I was told before I went that you sometimes have to pay to use their restrooms (unless you spend a specific amount of money and then they give you a pass), but I didn't experience this and was able to use the restrooms without paying. They also have a separate baby changing room near the children's clothes. Its kind of difficult to find even if you follow the signs, so do not hesitate to ask someone for directions.
What To Pay: EVERYTHING is overpriced
