We drove through the Scenic Wicklow mountain trail. This mountain range with its flowing mountain streams, lakes, glacial valeys is unique in its beauty with wonderful colorful scenic views. Of course, it rained all the way and there were few places where you could actually stop. The road is very narrow and not busy at this time of year. The one thing that came to mind was... 'what if we runned out of petrol?' or the car broke down... well, you have to think of these things so, take care.

For the energetic, there is a long distance walking trail known as 'The Wicklow Way.'
