Cross country travels My first Cross country motorcycle trip was in 1981. I had 3 more motorbike crossing adventures in the eighties. I've driven across by car or van 5 times. Gone Greyhound once (never again) and I hitch hiked from Berkley to Virginia in the early eighties. My next crossing hopefully will take me to Alaska. Some good books on the subject: "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck. "On the Road" by Jack Kerouak, and "Blue Highways" by William Least Heat Moon. | | | My First bike a '77 KZ650 |
