Xin Chaoo. The first thing that struck Jac and myself when we stepped out of Tan Son Nat airport was the intense heat. It was so very piercing. But once we were in the thick of action, not even the stickiness could stop us from moving around - Shopping, eating and experiencing the Vietnamese lifestyle, or whatever we could absorb in a short period of five days.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Ben Thanh Market, Le Loi St, Ben Thanh Night Market
Day 2 - Cao Dai Holy See Temple, Cu Chi Tunnels, Backpackers' Alley (Pham Ngu Lao), Nguyen Trai Shopping Strip
Day 3 - My Tho, Ben Tre, Dong Khoi St, Ben Thanh Night Market
Day 4 - War Remnants Museum, An Dong Market, Cholon, Bin Tay Market, Maximark Shopping Mall, Ben Thanh Night Market
Day 5 - Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, Reunification Palace/ Back to Singapore |
