I was going to call my Barry page The Home Of Gavin And Stacy but Vicki (Myfanwe) beat me to it. But then i thought well who cares about Gavin ehh!! lets just look for Stacy!

Barry Castle

Barry has been a popular place in South Wales for years when many people would decend upon it's sandy beach after working down the mines all week. It was and still is very popular as a place to go for a day out especialy when the sun is out.

Barry Island

barry has become more well known to the rest of the UK by the Comedy series Gavin and Stacy which has been filmed around barry.

Not having access to British television I have never seen Gavin and Stacy, but even without that background information this looks like a pleasant place to go for a relaxing weekend, especially after working in the mines all week.
