The Romans Called it Eboracum, the Vikings Jorvik and we now call it York.
It is one of the best preserved Medieval Walled Cities in Europe and a great place to cvisit for a day trip, a weekend ore for a week you will find loads to do and i can gaurentee that you won't be bored for a minute

    Hi Gareth, a great page about York! The bookshop looks fantastic. I just love these old bookshops in the UK, we don't have them here in Germany!
    York seems to be wonderful, I will visit there in summer and am looking forward to it so much! I can't wait to see those historical buildings myself!
