Why do I spend my holidays in Jelsa? Jelsa is a little town on the island Hvar, easily approachable by ferry from Split to Starigrad and then 9 km of local road to Jelsa. I can go to swimm each day to a different type of beach- sand, pebble etc. From Jelsa I can make daily trips to other towns on the island-to Hvar, Starigrad, Vrboska and to nearby island Brac and even to Dubrovnik. |

WHERE TO STAY IN JELSA One can stay in some of the hotels, such as Mina, Fontana, camping places or in private accomodation. I stay in private apartment, where I have kitchen and can prepare meals by myself or go to the restaurants with domestic food and wines. |
