"Visiting Sale'" Sale by jayjayc

Stayed at Sale' often since our client's office is located near Magic Park in Sale'. Not much difference than Rabat in terms of surroundings since, these two (Sale' and Rabat) are just next to each other.

Many of Moroccans I talked to said rents of houses/apartments are cheaper in Sale' and most people who work in Rabat live in Sale'.

Many times, I visited Sale' Medina (Market) to buy fresh meats, fruits and vegetables for lunch and dinner. Very happy to met a Filipino while I was in one restaurant in Rabat. Thereafter, I moved into his and his friend's apartment and stayed until I come back Dubai (stayed at his apartment for about 1 month and 1 week).

Top photo is the Chicken Man where I always go whenever I need poultry supply. He does not speak english and he knows I gave him an alias and calling him "Chicken Man", he never fought about it. We use "only" the calculator to communicate with each other. How much the cost and weigh of the chicken I myself got from the cage. I am new to this, you get the chicken from the cage, the vendor will weigh, you pay and vendor will prepare. You can go for a walk looking for other stuffs to buy in the market and you can come back after 15 minutes and your chicken is ready. While walking away from the Chicken Man stall, you'll even hear the chicken crowing while being drowned in a pale of hot water. Whoah! (We have frozen chickens in the market in Manila, not live ones)

Sweet Girl

One of the few I met who can speak English. Nice! Always visit her whenever I go to the market to have someone to talk to without a calculator..

Lady who can only speak Arabic and French. She's just outside my friends apartment. Starts to fry and sell bread at around 3:00 PM onwards. She never talked to me, since she knew I can not speak Arabic or French. Whenever I buy, she just gives me a big smile always..
