The only big city of the North

Copenhagen is a great city to visit and people should not have any problems finding anything to visit. Unlike most big cities finding a tourist information center is not that easy, in fact I know about one here that is close to the main train station but always when I have tried to go there, they are closed because of some reason so I do recommend that you do your own research.

Danes believe that most people speak fluent English, but living here I have understood that that is not so much like that, basic English level is more what they have.
Only young people in university have good English skills but younger and older people usually can only make few words.

Danes are in general helpful and nice people and it´s never problem to stop a Dane on the street and ask for information and if the person does not speak English they still put effort in explaining to you with pointing and talking mixed English, Danish , Swedish.

Information for tourists are hard to find, about the train system or all kind of brochures are typically not in english but they have announced that they are going to change that, good news.

Copenhagen is a beautiful city with a lot of beautiful buildings and hidden places, cafe´s and pubs, museums, tivoli everything you need and it´s also good to realize that Denmark is a tiny country so going to the very other end of Denmark from Copenhagen only takes about 4-5 hours.
