Louis Vuitton: Most Copied Brand (Tumon Sands Plaza Branch)

This Louis Vuitton Tips is for the Louis Vuitton Store inside the TUMON SANDS PLAZA.

Louis Vuitton, the Most Copied Brand (and most sought after brand after Hermes') in the World was Founded by Malletier Louis Vuitton in 1854, never would he realize that it would become a status symbol and a most copied brand in the world! need I need a more thorough explanation?

Louis Vuitton is the Core Company of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group (LVMH) which also owns other luxe brands like Tag heuer, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Fendi, Donna Karan, Hublot, Bulgari and also OWNS THE DFS GALLERIA COMPANY. The Louis Vuitton Brand of the LVMH Company contributes 30% of the Revenues of the Company, inspite of it being the most counterfeited product in the world. It also owns 18% of Hermes'.

opens: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm weekdays and Saturdays
Sundays: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

What to buy: There are less crowds of tourists at this Louis Vuitton Outlet since it is not in the Pleasure Island Part of Northern Tumon, where most of the luxe shops are.

the cheapest type of monogram canvass Bag is the speedy, which is about $475-725, the Damier type of canvass bags start at $1200, the traveller bags start at $ 2,400 and wallets start at $ 350, short wallets start at $ 250 and my favorite belts start at $ 450.

the Monogram and the Damier Type of Louis Vuitton are the cheapest kinds, if you want the more luxe items that are rarely counterfeited, then buy their Wichita, Suhali, Taiga, Utah Leather which are not easily distinguishable as a louis vuitton since it has barely has the LV Markings. but they costs more than double the regular lines. The regular lines are the Monogram, Monogram macassar canvas, damier, Damier Ebene, Damier Graphite and Damier Geant canvass.

What to pay: a regular line of Monogram or damier line of Messenger bag costs $ 1,600 while the subtle Tiaga or Utah Leather at 2,600 or more.

Hermes' store at DFS Galleria: Most Sought After Luxe Brand (DFS Mall Branch)

This is my Hermes' Shopping tips for their Branch at the DFS Galleria Mall.

Everybody knows that the Hermes' Brand is one of the most expensive Luxe brands in the world and is way more expensive than Louis Vuitton. In fact, about 18% of the company is owned by the LVMH group. The uber luxe fashion shop was founded by Thierry Hermes' in 1837. Hermès has 14 product divisions encompassing leather, scarves, ties, men's wear, women's fashion, perfume, watches, stationery, footwear, gloves, enamel, decorative arts, tableware, and jewelry. Hermès sales are composed of about 30% leather goods, 15% clothes, 12% scarves, and 43% other wares. What makes Hermes' popular is the Iconic Kelly and Birkin Bags for women and like Louis Vuitton, are often targets of counterfeiters but nothing beats the original. Japan is a leading buyer of luxury goods and Asia in general is the Main Market of luxe brands like Hermes hence you would find Hermes' stores at the Main Airports here in Japan and in South Korea and even in Singapore and Hong Kong and here in Guam, most of the customers here at the Hermes Store here are Rich Japanese Tourists.

hours: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm everyday

What to buy: how about a male tie for $ 850 and these are all ready duty free prices! a male wallet will cost $ 1,600 again duty free prices. A female Kelly regular bag will cost $ 15,000 again duty free. A Men's Belt at $ 1500. A Birkin ba costs $ 10,000. Terre' De Hermes Men's Cologne at $ 130, Unisex Hermes' Fragrance at $ 230 for a 50 ml bottle.

Hermes Products are very expensive since Hermes' produces a limited number of each item and most are hand made by the hermes' Artisans with no modern machinery involved.

The Plaza Guam: The Main Mall of the Outrigger Hotel

This is My Shopping Tips for The Plaza Guam

The Plaza Guam Mall is located right smack in the Middle of Pleasure Island part of Northern Tumon and it faces the DFS Galleria Mall across the street and it has some of the Luxe Shops find at the Tumon area but not as many as in the DFS Galleria Mall and the Tumon Sands Plaza. The mall houses some of the of high price stores like ROLEX, Caronel Watch Services, Le Sportsac, Polo Ralph Lauren, Aerosoles, Gucci, Cole Haan, Birkenstock, Gap, Bree, Breitling, Marc Jacobs, Audemars Piguet and more. They also have many food choices like the Hard Rock Cafe, Godiva Cafe, Honolulu Coffee Club, Bambu lounge, Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Shop, Seagrill Restaurant and more. Plus they have the Underwater World Attraction full of marine life.

Opens: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
restaurants and food outlets open 10:00 am to 12:00 am

What to buy: That Depends on your Budget hehehe, the Branded Stores here are really that expensive that the Mall Ranks third from DFS Galleria Mall and Tumon Sands Plaza as having the most luxe shops in Guam and if you want to buy some of the Branded stuffs here like Coach, Polo Ralph lauren or Gap or Le Sportsac, etc. then you may find some off season items at ROSS Dress for less at the Guam Premium Outlets. Some of the Stores might offer specials or discounts so you must be patient when walking and rummaging on the items you like at the Mall. Be Ready to Maxx out your Gold or Silver Credit card or bring out tight wads of cash.

Or just have a snack at the cheaper food outlets at the mall like the Honolulu Coffee Club or Hot Diggety Dog or Jungle Java Cafe.

What to pay: Maxxed Out Your Gold and Silver Credit Card, Must Have a Platinum or Titanium Credit Card to buy the Uber Luxe Items like Rolex or Breitling or Audemars Piguet Watches that costs from as low as $ 10,000 to as high as $ 75,000.

Address: 1255 Pale San Vitores Road, Tumon Bay, Guam 96913

DFS Galleria Mall: The Most Luxe Mall in Guam

This is my DFS Galleria Mall LUXE SHOPPING TIPS

This Huge DFS Galleria Mall competes with the nearby Tumon Sands Plaza as having the most Uber Luxe Items in Guam and The DFS Galleria Mall is ahead by a few luxe brands but not that much. The DFS Galleria Company Started in Hong Kong in the 1960's and it has spread to South East Asia, East Asia, the US West Coast & hawaii and here at Oceana. This is one of their largest stores around the region, the only bigger DFS Galleria Mall is in Hong Kong and Singapore.

They have a free shuttle service to and from your hotel starting at 10:00 am to 11:00 pm everday, waiting time is every 20 minutes.

They have a Planet Hollywood Restaurant in the Premises (now closed).

What to buy: Among the Uber Luxe Brand you can find here is Hermes', Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Prada, DKNY, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Dunhill, Gianni Versace, Armani, Piaget, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Coach, Bottega Venetta, Charriol, Breguet and more.

They have all kinds of accesories and Items found in department stores but are more luxe than regular stores like Perfumes, time Pieces, Shoes, Bags, Clothes, Luggage, Women's Wear, Laptop Cases and more. These items are the brands found above and will cost an arm and a leg.

JP Superstore: Local Mid Price Retail Chain

This JP Superstore is my Shopping Tips for it. Unfortunately, I can't find their website so I cannot list the website but it is also owned by the Owners of Guam Plaza Hotel, called the City Hill Company.

The JP Superstore is a local Chain of Department Stores that are patterned after the superstores in Japan wherein the depatment stores are multi-level and each particular brand item is arranged in a neat order like the Outdoor Corner, The Surf Corner, the Shoe Corner, The Clothes corner, the food corner, etc. and they are located in the designated areas of this multi-level department store. Most of the customers here are mostly the Japanese Tourists and some Chinese and Koreans and a smattering of Locals.

Opens: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm everday

What to buy: This chain of department stores have branches at the Micronesia Mall and Tumon Sands Plaza and the brands they carry are mostly mid priced and are more international than american brands such as Billabong, Oakley, Birkenstock, Quicksilver, Diesel, Juicy Cotoure, Element, Junk Food, LRG, Obey and more. Macy's has more upscale items being offered than here at the JP Superstore but the theme here is into more Young and Middle Aged asian Fashion Style.

What to pay: Not a drain on your wallet or on you credit card.
A small men's hand bag by diesel costs $95, a juicy cotoure card holder wallet at $ 50, wallets at $ 50 and more choices available.

Address: 1328 Pale San Vitores Rd, Tumon, Guam

Directions: 1328 Pale San Vitores Rd, Tumon, Guam, Mariana Islands. North Loop of Trolley Bus service has a stop here. South Loop Trolley Bus service back to your hotel.

Nautica: My Favorite Casual Wear Brand

Nautica is one of my favorite Casual Wear clothing brands besides Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste. This Nautica Branch is located at the Micronesia Mall in Dededo and too bad that they don't have a factory outlet at the Guam Premium Outlets, it would have been more cheaper if they have an outlet there. Nautica was founded in 1983 by clothing designer, David Chu, and a partner. It was purchased for cash and stock in 1984 by State-O-Main, a New York based apparel company. State-O-Main changed its name to Nautica in 1994. VF Corporation purchased Nautica in 2003 and it became more popular today with more branches worldwide.

Opens: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday

What to buy: they have an assortment of Men's and Women's Wear and my favorite round neck T-Shirts since they have the most stylish collection of Men's Round Neck T-Shirts. Also the Polo Shirts, they have the most colorful and trendy polo shirts after Tommy Hilfiger. Another favorite of Mine are their beach Shorts and Board Shorts.

What to pay: not a den't on your wallet and you credit card

Round Neck T-Shirts at $ 29.50, Polo Shirts at $ 60, Slacks at $ 80, Board Shorts at $ 65 and Beach Wear at $ 70.

The best deal here is there is no sales tax!

Address: 1F/C1, Micronesia Mall, Dededo, Guam

Directions: 1F/C1, Micronesia Mall, Dededo, Guam. Take the North Loop Bus Trolley to Micronesia Mall. Take the South loop trolley to go back to your hotel or the Micronesia Mall-K mart-GPO Trolley for more shopping).
