"Did someone just drop a pin?" Tatamagouche by stilts121

My wife Miranda and I honeymooned in the lovely environs of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. Some people thought us odd for choosing to go to one of the Maritimes of Canada in October, but we really wanted to just get away from everyone and everything and spend a week alone, and there really was no better place than an isolated farmhouse in Nova Scotia in October.

Upon arrival, we were faced with a nightmare; the car rental agency did not have an automobile reserved for us and would not be able to get us one until Monday. Our destination was a two hour drive from the airport. Thankfully, we did book a room in a lovely B&B nearby for that night, so we hailed a taxicab and headed over there. I managed to call our hosts in Tatamagouche to let them know we would be a day late, and they offered to come retrieve us, take us all the way up to our home for the next week, and then back down to the airport the following day to get our car! On top of that, our hosts at the B&B took us out to dinner that night.

The rumors are true. Canadians are the most hospitable people on the planet.
