It is very frustrating in Rome about pickpockets, they are everywhere as long as you are in public area, it could be one man or two young girls or three young girls or a young couple pretend they are tourists themselves. But it is very easy to spot them, because they will have to get to near you first, and before they got near you, they always have their eyes on your wallets or purse. They will do it on the bus, too. Try not to carry backpack on your back, because this is number one to be picked and it happens everyday, we were there 6 days, and they are just everywhere. When you caught them, they will act surprised and pretend not understanding you and walk away, it is a shame a wonderful city, that you have to watch your wallet every minute, and they would do it on broad daylight, on the street and everywhere. It is -- nerve wrecking sometimes, and we are not exaggerating, this is based on fact.
