You've Only Got One Life..

Don't Spend It At Home

Sometimes, It's Just a Suggestion ;)
Let's see, well I can't imagine a vacation without a beach. Not that I won't travel to any inland areas, I just love being around the water. It's a big reason why I joined the Navy. I live for adventure, mostly the risky kind. Getting the adrenaline pumping and being able boast about the things most people wouldn't even think about doing...not that it makes me smart. In fact, I openly admit that I was probably dropped on my head one too many times as a baby.
I would rather stay in a small motel or even camp than waste my money on an extravagant hotel. There's too many things to do, too many people to meet! :)

So, I love photography, being in the water, and traveling....so I put 2 and 2 together and decided to be an underwater photographer! But first, I'll be working more along the lines of AT....

Reading!

The best part about any trip is the reading you can catch up on on the way there. I love reading about anything and I'll read anything at all. The back of the shampoo bottle, years old newspapers, your tshirt, oh yeah and books. I like to research a lot about the area wherever I'm traveling to. I like to know all my options and be prepared anything that may happen, I don't like being ignorant on local customs. Ok I don't have much more to say except that I'll be updating with every trip I take. Thanks for stopping by.
I probably lost those sunglasses

I guess I do have more

So one of the first places I visited was Southern Texas. My family moved there when I was about 10, and I loved the heat! After the bitter winters of Buffalo, it was great to be able to visit the beach whenever and not have to bundle up 6 months out of the year. (That might be an exaggeration, its closer to 5 1/2 months ;) )
Standing at the top of Opeakaa Falls

Oh Kauai how you thrill me

Best time ever.
