There are a plenty of beautiful art galleries in old town.You can actually see artists working even as you step inside.The artist in the picture below was probably talking to his client.I loved his studio and all the paintings he had on display.

The Promenade is such a lively place.Spend atleast half a day here to see and meet locals as well as tourists.Street performers, skaters , cyclists and joggers make this the place to be in , while in Nice.The beach is not sandy but is nevetheless beautiful.Beautiful people make it a point to be seen here. The cool blue of the Mediterranean Sea is soothing to the eyes.

Take a stroll on the Promenade at night.The entire city glows like a diamond necklace . You can see the cresent moon on the night we went for a stroll.Nice is an absolutely safe city and the people are very helpful and friendly.

There are wonderful road side cafes , boutiques and art galleries on most streets in old town in Nice.Walking around the inner streets is such a pleasure.
