A popular but crowded hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India.It was a retreat for the British during summertime in the days of the Raj.It is too touristy and crowded during the holiday season.The best time for a visit is during the winter months of November ,December and January when hardly any tourists arrive.
The Botanical garden is a must see while here.Also don't forget to buy some local tea and medicinal oils before leaving the town. |
