Austria , here I come ! 15 3 2007 . The Schengen visa has been endorsed on our passports by the Austrian Embassy in New Delhi .Me , my wife and our 14 year old are looking forward to visiting this beautiful country and also see a bit of Italy and France.
My love for art is taking me to Austria.I hope to see as many Gustav Klimt paintings as possible on my 15 day tour. A good five days are set aside for Vienna.
This is my second trip with family outside my wonderful country India.We spent two great weeks on the Eastern coast of the U.S. in 2003.I love cities . We did just three in 15 days - NYC , Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
This time around we are doing Linz,Salzburg, Vienna and a few more . |

Classic Cameras I'm addicted to collecting cameras.The collection keeps growing each month.Who owned these in the past ? What wonderful memories were the owners able to relive ? How many hands did they change before reaching me ? Most are in ship-shape condition.Many are unusable because the required film rolls are no longer available. |

Lucky 13 My international journeys always commence on the 13th. In April 2007 I started the European trip on Friday the 13 th .In 2003 I flew out on 13th September for New York . |

How do I travel ? - I travel with my family wherever I go.My family means everything to me. - I don't plan much.And almost never book hotels before hand .I research about the places I'm likely to visit. - I'm a budget traveller.But I never compromise on quality and safety. - I love photography.I carry atleast three cameras with me including a DVD recorder. - My laptop loves to travel too.It accompanies me everywhere.Always as a ticketless traveler !! - I like active holidays. And like to walk around a lot. - I like to meet old friends and make new friends in places I go to. - I'm always confident and positive .I don't get bogged down by small setbacks. - I dislike escorted tours.Travelling is always an adventure for me. - I don't indulge in shopping while travelling. - I love museums , art galleries , architecture , nature and the company of nice , down-to-earth people. - I travel very light . - I love train travel. |
