|  | AFRICAN SUNRISE I live in a little town called White River in the Province of Mpumalanga ( which means place where the sun comes up) this is quite appropriate as we are in the most easterly part of South Africa.
The sunrise photo was taken from my bedroom balcony.
We have one of the biggest tourist attractions right on our doorstep namely the Kruger National Park which is one of the biggest Game Reserves in the world. |
My Family We are one of many blended families both my husband and I having been married before.
We have been together now for 21 years married for 17 years.
Between us we have 5 children, 1 girl and 4 boys.

| | My Sons These are my three sons. From left to right.
Lynton is my oldest will be 24 in April 2007. Is in the computer industry. Still staying at home clever much cheaper than to have his own place and still gets moms cooking.
Rudi the tall one in the center is the youngest was 20 in January 2007. Also in the computer industry working and studing at the same time so also still at home
On the right is Greg the rebel will be 23 in November2007. He has almost finished his studies. He is at Hotel School in Johannesburg, is going to be a chef. |
My Cats I have 7 cats, most of them where strays that arrived on the farm when we still lived out in the bush.
They are such wonderful creatures all with their own characters.
Mo (short for Monster) my only male cat, the one with the white chest in the foreground uses the toilet for a pee , does not fancy the cat litter which is only inside for my old ladies who cannot jump in and out of the windows at night. Don't know how he just taught himself. (RIP MO Gone to Kitty Heaven May 2007)

| | Pussycat This is the old lady of the family. She will be 20 this year. We inherited her in 2000 when her family moved to Australia and could not take her with.
She has since made herself at home and even gets on well with the dogs. |
My Dogs At the moment (2007) we have two doggies in the family. They are fox terriers daddy and daughter.
The daddy's name is Bones as he was found on the rubbish dump when he was a puppy and was a walking skeleton hence the name even though he his now a plumb fellow. (RIP - BONES ENJOY DOGGIE HEAVEN 25/02/2007)
Munchkin is my baby. She is spoilt rotten and when we are traveling I really miss her alot. | | |
| | The Bird Last but not least is Mary Lou an African Gray. She talks and sings and can be really naughty. Loves to be out of the cage but never wants to get back in. |
