Our family has gone to Hawaii 5times and will be going back in 3weeks and each time we stay at the Imperial. We have never had any problems with the rooms or the personal. The Employees have always been very polite and very helpful. The rooms have always been clean and is exactly what we want. The first trip there was 15 of us that went and this time there will be 35 of us. This is a family trip that we take and each time we go the family grows...from our parents,siblings to great grand children. The location is perfect for us...acroos the street and walk inbetween buildings and you are on the beach. The resturants are great in this area too and with 35 of us they can accomadate the number too. From griiled cheeses for the children to staks and seafood for adults. The Shorebird in the Outrigger has become a family favorite to eat at..also Moose McGillycuttys, and The Cheesecake Factory in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. We enjoy the pool that is on the roof also quite a bit. I would recommend The Imperial to anyone.
Unique Qualities: The pool is very clean and well kept. Atleast someone in my family as stayed in each of the types of rooms during our trips and we have NEVER had any problems with any of them....the maid service is great and very friendly. The WHOLE service of the emperial from Bellboys to the Management has been Great. The travel agency that is located in the lobby also is tremendous...if you have any questions about tourists information they can help you out.Some say the decor is dated that maybe so but it is Very relaxing atmoshpere and Service will out weigh the decor anyday.
