THE happening city!

I arrived in Barcelona on my 21st birthday on the 1st of August 2007. I stayed at the five star hotel 'Grand Marina' for 5 days and four nights. During my stay in Barcelona, i visited some of the famous sites including: Sagrada Família and Nou Camp FC Barcelona.

It is a quite an expensive city, two of us spent a thousand easily just on food, we didn't buy anything really, the odd gift which weren't expensive. I enjoyed the luxury of certain places

It is a city that is always on the go, always finding something to see or visit!
A view of the habour, holding some of the most beautiful boats. It's a really nice walk by the habour. This picture was taken whilst walking up to Barcelona Aquarium.
This picture was taken in an outdoor markets just off Las Rambla's. I've never see fruit so colourful and fresh. I tried a fruit juice here and it was gorgeous, very fruit and fresh. It's an interesting viewing and don't be shy to try a fruit or two, it's divine!

Did you not get to watch Barça play a match? It is a great experience too, though I found the fans quite subdued! Maybe that was just because it wasn't an important match though. Força Barça!
