View from the desert, overlooking Dahab
A memorable trip to the mountains and valleys of the Sinai, and the beautiful coastline surrounding Dahab city.
You are taken in the desert by jeep, showing the natural beauty of the Sinai. We met bedouin people and shown how they live. We also saw their graveyard, only way they knew were gravestones by having a simple stone place to the top of the grave. Quite sad really, but its their way of life. Interesting to see how other cultures live. It was very nice to see and meet the bedouin people, as they were lovely. Small children would often come upto you ask to buy things, such as necklaces and bracelets.
After a viewing of the desert, we went into Dahab city to do some shopping, being able to purchase things like perfumes etc. Then lunch were served.
It was nice to see 'natural' beauty and on how people in Egypt genuinely live.
The trip cost approximately £33 per person, including pick up and drop off at hotel, safari and lunch.

What a magical show it was here. It was approximately an hour. It was booked by an excursion done through our rep. It cost £20 per person, which included pick up and drop off and a visit to fanatazia to do some shopping. Which included a free drink.
The show began with African dancers, then the Russian trainers came and began the show. It was magical. There was three dolphins who did various amount of tricks and it was a bit emotional to be fair. Everyone really enjoyed it.
It must be seen to be appreciated!
If i was to go again, i'd go by a taxi and pay at the gate, as it is much cheaper. We only went this way because the taxi man who we had didnt know where it was and we got lost, so we gave up and booked it through the rep.

The sound and light show at Fantazia
This was a night to remember! I had so much fun. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to Fantazia...we were shown to the people who would be serving us our dinner and where to go for the show etc. I remember walking into the place and thinking it was something from Aladdin! It looked like a palace and was huge....very beautiful.
The show was showing at 9.00 pm so we walked around the shops in Fantazia, then went to get our seats for the show...we was asked if we'd like drinks and they were brought to us. The show began it featured the wonders of Egypt; Sphinx, Temples etc and explained the history...so very educational too. The show began with lights and dancing, then horse riding with tricks which i really enjoyed!! They had fire works and lots more dancing...everyone really enjoyed the show. We then went to the centre of Fantazia where another show of traditional eygptian dancing were been shown. The man who we were introduced to showed us to our seats (front row!) and we were given our food; asked if we'd like drinks and sheesha etc. The manager even came to us and asked if everything was ok! I remeber everyone looking at us like how come they are getting all the attention! I also thought the same...we were treated like royalty. The show ended at about 1 am and we were picked up from Fantazia and taken back to the hotel...It was a fabulous night!! Definately recommended!!

Valley of the Kings
We arrived to the airport and quickly found our guide who spoke very good english and explained to us what we'd be doing that day.
We were shown to the bus, which were very modern, clean and had air conditioning. Our guide asked us if we'd like to be shown to the hotel first or see the sites! Of course, see the sites! We were taken to the Valley of the Kings and given the option of also seeing King Tut's tomb, which of course we did! The tombs were more beautiful than i imagined...but we couldn't take any photography! It was a bit emotional seeing King Tut's tomb as you've heared so much about the famous King...He still was only a young boy when he died. Unfortunately, we could only see three other tombs but our guide picked out the best. We were then taken to a shop where they made limestone in to statues etc...It was interesting and had some beautiful things, here i were given a necklace by the shop owner - very nice of him! We were then taken to Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple...so beautiful! I didn't want to leave this place, it also had some beautiful views overlooking Luxor!
From here, we were taken to the Mercure Hotel which were very nice...we had a buffet lunch, plenty to choose from. We were here for a while before our guide picked us up to take us to Karnak Temple...Here was my favourite - there was so much to see and the detail in it was out of this world. Time flew and we had to leave. We were taken back to the hotel and were given the choice to do what we wanted and we were to be picked up at 8.30 for our flight. We had a beautiful meal by the hotels pool, and was extremely cheap!! We then decided to go on horse and carriage around the nile...our driver was really nice although he went a bit fast at times! Before we knew it we were back by the hotel and it was time for our flight. It was a great day and i felt we got a lot more than we bargain for! I'd love to go again!

The Great Pyramid
We finally arrived to Cairo museum (after about a 7 hour journey)...they had ques outside to get in. We evencually got in and our guide told us that he could only take us to what he thought were the most important part as it'd take three whole days without sleep to visit everything in the museum!! It was absolutely breath taking to see the treasures of Egypt, it's such a shame we couldn't see it all. I have to admit that the most beautiful section were Tut ankh amon. His mask it beautiful.
We then set off from the museum and set off to lunch by the Nile, it was a running buffet and was included in the price. I quickly ate my lunch as i knew we'd be going to see the Pyramids of Giza next. Not too far from the coach we approaching the Pyramids, everyone were getting excited. We finally stopped and were allowed half an hour to walk around the Pyramids...I also decided to go see Cheop's boat and it was worth it! It all seemed too short to see the Pyramids, but it was time to get back on the bus and go to see the Sphinx. Wow...it was absolutely huge! Again...amazed by how they could create such things...We were then taken to a perfume shop which we weren't too interested in, so we saw Pizza Hut across the road and decided to visit that instead! We couldn't believe the view from it; Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx! We then returned to the coach and were taken to a papyrus shop, we were really tired by this point so we stayed on the coach. After this we were taken to the old city (Khan el Khalili)...It was getting dark and most were a bit daunted by it, it was very very busy and the crowds were too much for some. We were left to walk round ourselves and be picked up where we were dropped off. We didn't know where we were going so didn't venture too far...we all seemed to meet up at the drop off within 15 minutes! We then were picked up and set off back to Sharm, we stopped off again...then the journey back and didn't arrive home until 1.30 the next morning!

Me on the bikes...What a picture!!
WOW! I can't begin to describe how much fun this trip was. Prior to going to Sharm, i already did some research on the excursions i was going to do. Quad biking was on the list, and although i just had major surgery on my abdomen...(6 weeks post operation when i was in Sharm) I knew it'd be an experience not to miss!! Although i imagined it'd be fun...i never guessed how much!! During my stay at Dreams Beach i got talking to few people who mentioned that it was good and they were going again.
We were picked up from our hotel and taken to a place where all the quads were kept. I put on my goggles and headscarf...I bet i looked the picture. We were then shown our quad bike, we had someone to follow...there was a lot of people out in the desert on quads, so sand and plenty of noise...only made it more exciting!! We couldn't go too fast because we was just following our guide to the place where the trip was to take place. It was soo exciting!! We evencually came to the desert and we could go full throttle!! The buzz was amazing!!
We stopped to visit the Bedouin People, who were really lovely. We could stop for drinks and buy things such as bracelets. There was also a camel in the desert which we could ride if we wanted...but i just wanted to go back on the bikes! Our guide took us to a place called Echo Valley, we all shouted our names which was supposed to be good luck...It was really fun. Then we went on a road trip between the Valleys then stopped off to the Bedouin tent and had traditional Egyptian tea. We sat and talked about how much fun we were having. I went back on the Quads to the place where the Quads were. It was soo much fun...I was full of sand, but i didnt care...It was an experience not to miss!!
I will definately be going once or twice when i visit again in September...I can't wait!!
Directions: I booked this excursion through Charm of Sharm who i'd recommend to anyone, they were great!

Beautiful...Priceless
Silly me here decided to jump off my hotels Jetty, big mistake. Hehe. I didn't realise how deep it was after the coral and that the waves were strong when they were hitting against it. I nearly drowned. Which was shocking as i'm a good swimmer, but couldn't compete with those waves.
ANYWAY, i was upset about this as i really wanted to see the beautful fish up close, so walking around Naama Bay and been asked to go on a glass bottom boat seemed a good idea. As the boat took us out you could see the beautiful fish pass by, it was amazing. The boat stops further out by Naama Bay and near some coral so you can see the best of the fish. They usually let you stop for some snorkelling, which is completely fine here has the sea is so calm. Even after my scare i even snorkelled here, however if your unsure you can rent a lifejacket on Naama bay beach.
It is definately worth a trip, i went twice amongst my other ventures that i did in the two weeks i was there. It was breathtaking.
Address: Naama Bay beach
Directions: On Naama Bay beach, people advertise the boat and will often ask you before you ask them. It's approximately 40 egyptian pounds per person and the trip lasts approximately an hour.
