Firstly, i could see the grounds were well maintained...couldn't believe how green everything were in the heat! Not far from my room, were the main pool, which on a night looked beautiful and tranquil. I then ventured to the hotel's private beach, on the way passing Golf course, and what seemed to be a small bird garen, Bedouin tent, Love boat, Grill Restaurant...the views were amazing from the beach, everything seemed so calm. Although it was dark, you could see the fish swimming in the coral...i just couldn't wait until it was light to see everything in a better picture. The beach had plenty of loungers with umbrellas...I was happy. The hotel had four restaurants to choose from, the food was gorgeous and had plenty to choose from. The first night when i arrived to hotel i went to the hotel's main buffet, and i was shocked by the selection! WOW! I was like a little kid in a sweet shop. I basically choose what i wanted and the waiters came to me and asked me what i'd like to drink and frequently did this when i was running low. I don't drink, and i loved the hotels non-alcohol cocktail 'Dreams Sympthany' i must of ran them dry...But it was GORGEOUS! On an evening you have to book the restuarants outside. There is also 'My place' and the italian by the pool. You get one meal each week you stay at the hotel; e.g stay for two weeks and you can go twice. There is also the love boat, which i would recommend! On certain nights they have entertainment such as belly dancing etc....the food was a gorgeous three course, and lots of it! The views from the love boat on cliff were breathtaking and at night is so peaceful. Everyone seemed to have a great time here as they got you up dancing and joining in the fun! I was impressed, i won two competitions and won two cocktails! It does cost to go here though, 112 egyptian £'s per person (£12) but well worth it. If you do go, make sure its on the night they the party. I found that it seemed to be every Wednesday, but they will advertise this in reception near the buffet area.
Unique Qualities: The pools were really busy, it was so hard to get a sun lounger. I think a lot of people put down their towels at around 8 in the morning! Too early for me...Hehe. I'm not one to sit in the sun anyway, so i had fun in the pool. There is a bar at the pool, which is handy! They had an entertainment team that were often by the pool doing water areobics or playing 'water soccer'. They would also come to you and try to put you down for entertainment...which was fun to join in. The italian restaurant by the pool is open during the day for a buffet style meal, i loved it here. The big bonus of going to Dreams Beach was that they had a sister hotel right next door; Dreams Vacation which you could use their facilities too. The pools are much bigger and quieter as they don't have a beach. I would say it's a 5 minute walk to the hotel, but there is a little car that comes round to take you there and back. I'm not sure how many restaurants they have there, as i didn't eat here. But i did see a mexican by the pool. I notice they also had football pitch and stage. They were also a hiden secret, in the Dreams Vacation they had a Gym, Jaccuzi and Sauna. It was small, but an added bonus. I liked the added touch of having four poster style beds by the pools with canopies across, a nice touch and perfect from hiding from the sun! The hotel also had a free bus that picks you up from the hotel and takes you to Naama Bay. You do have to put your name down though, as the seats go fast especially on an evening. I'd recommend that you put your name down before you go to breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I enjoyed it so much that i often said 'this is the life'. I will be returning in September 2007 for another two weeks. The staff, food, facilities are excellent!

The strange thing about this hotel, is in the previous year whilst waiting for a taxi to my hotel Dreams Beach Hotel, a saw a hotel lit up with waterfalls. I took a picture. When i went to book my trip to Sharm again, i searched through the hotels as Dreams Beach was having work done. I picked the hotel 'Ghazala Gardens' and when i went home to look through my pictures, i found out that it was the hotel of the picture i took the previous year! So it was fate. Haha. As it was last year, my first impressions were great, very grand, nice exterior and interior. The staff were friendly. I was took to my room and weren't very impressed, to saw how grand the hotel was in the reception and the grounds and pool were amazing! It is all inclusive hotel. It was very basic and dated, but clean. There was three of us sharing, so i complained there wasnt enough room. I appreciated that the hotel was full so they promised a room would be free a week later. I was upgraded to the top room that was like a suite to the far end of the hotel, i think they were like honeymoon suites. Beautiful. Well worth it if your staying for two weeks.
Unique Qualities: The food was nice, not as much to choose from as Dreams Beach, but you had two restaurants to take your pick as buffets. They also had an italian, where you had to book, i never ate here on a night as it was always busy. I did eat here during the day, they offered pizza etc. Also, was a grill that offered snacks, such as bugger and chips - i ate here most of the time. The pool, well i've never seen anything like it, it didnt look like a pool. It looked like an oasis, bridges over the pool, and waterfalls going into it. Very calm and relaxing. In addition to this hotel you can also use the sister hotel over the road called 'Ghazala Hotel' its older than Ghazala Gardens, but its where the private beach is, gym and spa, also internet (when its working). Its centrally located, just over the road from Naama Bay, but quiet enough - no noise! However, its not a lively hotel, recommend for relaxtion, couples, but not children, they would be bored!
