Capitol Reef is one of those places that you probably haven't heard of yet...and well, you should probably be glad that you and most others have never heard of it!

It's a real wide open place. When we happened to be there. Right around Christmas, there was literally not another person around us for 50 fifty miles..and beyond that only a few. Stark Landscapes and big skies are what this places is about.

    OMG - you did Muley Twist to Strike Valley!! We just did that one this past fall: is that not one of the most killer panoramas ever!!??? Yep, Capitol is another of those overlooked gems - which is not necessarily a bad thing after the cast of thousands at Arches. HA!
