Ferry Building Ferry Building Review

There are tons of things to do in SF, but one favorite is to check out the artisanal food mecca that is the Ferry Building...yes touristy, but also fun to check out the food stalls and then pop onto the sausalito ferry for a nice jaunt across. The Ferry building has everything from artisanal cheese, and chocolate, and ice cream to a burger joint, coffee bars, oyster bars, sea food restaurants and more. Adjacent to it is the actual Ferry terminal which takes you across the bay to Sausalito, Larkspur and a few other places. I think it's a perfect afternoon to have oysters, and champagne and other excellent and delicious foods, then hop on the Ferry for a nice afternoon ride. I mean it's less than $10 and you're out on the water enjoying a short trip. Splendid.

COIT TOWER Avoid Driving There On The Weekends. Coit Tower Review

Coit Tower is a really cool spot to hang out, have a coke, chill out and enjoy the sites calmly. Sort of dream the day away.If you drive there, you will be in NO mood to do what I have just described. The road to the tiny parking lot winds around the tower and makes for maddening dead stopped traffic. Go, but park farther away and take a leisurely stroll. Or at minimum go during the weekday and if you see a back up forming...leave and come back. You'll thank me!
