    • You really must keep up to date with San Keep up to date with Francisco's eateries because it's a real food city with great choice and new things popping up all the time. You can even ask a waiter or waitress where they like to eat when they're not working and you'll get a good low down. Really! If you're going to eat in one city in the US, make it SF.

    Be absolutely sure to take advantage of the wine culture of Northern California. They make superb wines, brandy's, liquers.....and also beers.

     Giampiero, I belive the tenderloin districk came first I think we used to go to the Gay Masquerade Ball at the Hilton. lived in S.F. for 6 yrs and wish I had never left
