One minute you're in the Mojave Desert, the next you're in the majestic Sierra's. Life is good! I've done a fair bit of skiing in Colorado and in the Italian Alps and I have to say that Mammoth offers really great skiing conditions. Warm weather usually, lots of snow, tons of terrain, good lifts and equipment, and varied rides. |

ok so where are the lakes? now is this mountain in the sierras'? hubby's friend was telling us all about snows in Sierras "that can be seen from his backyard". hubby says there is more snow on our drive way at this time :-) | ATXtraveler Sun Mar 6, 2005 15:57 UTC
